Job Title: BUSINESS ANALYST: ATM ACQUIRING (C5)
(Position based in NPC, Pretoria)
Reports to ATM Manager
Summation The ATM Business Analyst will analyse channel data and partner with Postbank IT, 3rd party suppliers, and
internal stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement efforts, and to improve the quality of the ATM performance and customer experience of Postbank’s ATM fleet.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the execution and implementation of the end to end ATM acquiring strategy in line with Postbank strategy, this should include how the product will be managed.
• Develop, implement and manage efficient and effective methods / practices to ensure quality and timely
delivery of deliverables.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and publish ATM channel performance.
• Analyse the business risk associated with the ATM acquiring business and the development of the ATM acquiring business portfolio within Postbank.
• Ensure delivery of projects within the agreed timelines
• Monitor, compile reports in terms of agreed SLA’s
Minimum Requirements
• Relevant commercial qualification (NQF Level 7). Any further qualification in a financial related field will
be an added advantage
• 3-4 years’ experience in business analysis, business process analysis within retail banking of which 2 years or more should be in Banking Channel environment Knowledge and understanding of:
• Services provided within the ATM environment
• Relevant legislation, regulations, internal policies/ procedures that affect any activity of Postbank Savings Operations with specific reference to the Public Finance Management Act, King II Report, FICA,
FAIS, etc.
• Financial product/s knowledge
• Quality management systems (ISO)
• Commercial awareness, including market and competitor analysis
• Project management (principles, practices, techniques & tools)
• Value chain management Skills and Attributes
• Influencing and Negotiation skills, Financial Management skills, i.e. budgeting, cost benefit analysis and business case development, Decision making skills, Technical skills, Change management, Analytical Thinking skills, Ability to analyse complex problem situations and design effective remedial solutions, Planning, coordination & implementation skills, Accurate numerical computations, analytical and overall quantitative skills, Business Acumen, Business Intelligence/Organisational awareness, Adaptability to change, Learning Agility, Initiative, creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking , Knowledge Management, Relationship Building, Resilience, Strategic Thinking, Customer and Client Orientation
