Requirements
Qualification that allow registration with SANC as Staff Nurse. Current registration with SANC as Staff Nurse.
Duties
Execute nursing care plan for patients. Monitor vital signs and Observe reactions to medication and treatments. Promote and maintain hygiene, comfort and re-assurance of patient’s administration of oral medication and carry out other procedure according to scope of practice. Supervise and maintain fluid balance, oxygen and sensory promote healing of wounds, fractures and protection of skin. Prepare for and assist with Ward specific therapeutic Acts performed by registered person. Prepare for and assist with Ward specific procedures. Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure good nursing care. Work effectively, cooperatively, amicably with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious differences. Display a concern for patient, promoting and advocating basic care including awareness and willingness to respond to patient’s needs, requirement and expectations. Knowledge of Batho Pele, Nursing Values 6 Ministerial Priorities.
