Study Fields
We invite applicants who are studying in the following
fields an opportunity to apply for a bursary:
•
B.Eng. (Mechanical Engineering)
• BSc (Computer Science and Information Technology)
• B.com (Accounting)
• B.com (Business Science)
• B.com Supply Chain Management/Entrepreneurship
• B.com Sales and Marketing
• Environmental Science
• Legal and Risk Management
• Digital Business
• Honours/Masters students in any of the above fields


Bursary Requirements and Eligibility

To be considered for a bursary in any of the above-mentioned
fields, you will need to meet the following criteria:
• Must be a citizen or have permanent residency in South
Africa
• Be enrolled or intending to enroll as a full- time student in
a South African university
• Must have an overall average result of 65% at Grade 12
• Must maintain excellent tertiary results throughout his/her
studies


How to Apply

  1. Complete the Application Form – this can be downloaded from the TUT Portal: Notices or from the Financial
    Aid Advisor at the Student Funding Centre or click here: https://www.tut.ac.za/bursaries-and-loans/notices/notice?NID=35
  2. Hand deliver completed forms to the Student Funding Centre together with the following Documents
    o Certified copy of your identity document
    o Latest copy of results/ academic transcripts
    o Proof of acceptance from the university (for first year students only)
    o Certified copy of parents/guardian/spouse proof of income
    o Affidavit of unemployment of parent/guardian/spouse

  3. The Closing Date for Applications is 30th October 2020
    Should you not have received a response by the 11th December 2020, please consider your application unsuccessful.
