ST Bureau – Scanner Learnership (EE)

  • 12 Month contract
  • On the job training as well as a formal study
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Between the age of 18 and 27 years old.
  • Must have completed matric
  • Criminal and credit clear (required)

HOW TO APPLY

Main activities/tasks

  • Team Leader to verify image of card, sign off work order and handover to the ticking department.
  • Any shortages/discrepancies in any run will require the run to be halted, supervisor notified and the problem resolved before commencing with the run;
  • Ensure checked cards are corresponding with tick sheets and packed in boxes as per customers specification.
  • Complete note book and audit trail with quantities, description, date and time.
  • Pack boxes in a bin, load into lift with all the relevant paperwork.
  • Liaise with team leaders / supervisor to ensure that quality issues are resolved if any.
  • Ensure no secure cards are left in, on, under or around the equipment / workplace at end of shift.
  • Ensure that reasons for waste are adequately explained;
  • Identify non-conforming product by monitoring the process;
  • Accurately record the quantity of non-conforming product, as well as the reason for this;
  • Ensure cleanliness of area (empty boxes to be removed at end of shift);
  • Ensure that safety standards are maintained;
  • Ensure work tickets are signed off during shift once job is complete;
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any problems experienced;
  • AD-HOC assignments given by management from time to time.
  • Comply to 5’S

Personality requirements

  • Demonstrate a confident attitude.
  • Good communication skills

Knowledge and skills

  • Accuracy to data recordings and completion of documents.
