REGISTRY CLERK: RECORDS MANAGEMENT REF NO: DSD 73/2023

SALARY : R202 233 per annum (Level 05)
CENTRE : Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). Recommendation: A
valid (Code B or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict
driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
Competencies: A good understanding of the following: Registry duties,
practices as well as the ability to capture data and operate a computer;
Legislative framework governing the public service; Storage and retrieval
procedures; Understanding registry work; Skills needed: Proven computer
literacy; Planning and organising; Written and verbal communication; Problemsolving.

DUTIES : Provide register counter services; Handle incoming and outgoing
correspondence; Render an effective filing and record management service;
Operate office machines in relation to the registry function; Process documents
for archiving and disposal.
