Salary: (R11, 458.24 – R15 467.89)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- To oversee and control stock of machinery, hand tools, fuel, protective clothing, and toxic substances
- To render a storekeeping duties, i.e. Receive stock and issue quittance/logbooks
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 10
- Qualification in Gardening or Horticulture
- 2 years’ experience in arboricultural /horticultural maintenance /gardening
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Handle the distribution of tools and equipment to various teams within the depot
- Issue machinery and report any defects to facilities Management
- Maintain tools and equipment data bases Participate in all store meetings
- Keep the store room clean and tidyy
- Issue and control petrol machines
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Knowledge of gardening tool operation and toxic substances
- OHSA Act knowledge
- Knowledge of safe practices in mixing, application and disposal of pesticides and herbicides
- Good understanding of SHEREQ requirements and the applications to horticulture
- Computer Literacy
- Planning and Organizing Skills
