The Natural Resources sector within Standard Bank consists of sector specialists for predominantly 3 sub sectors being that of Power & Sustainable solutions, Mining and Logistics. These are all specialised sectors in our economy that plays an important role in respect of economic growth and job creation. We work closely with internal Relationship banking and deal origination teams to ensure that we fully understand and support customer needs in these sub sectors. In the process we also maintain relationships with external industry bodies and experts and ensure that we are contributing from a thought leadership perspective.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate completed / Postgraduate qualification completed or completing in 2023 in:
- Natural Resources
- Environmental Sciences
- Plant or animal Sciences

Join this dynamic team and provide active input into the formulation of the strategic direction taken by the research team and analytical support that the team provides to the Agribusiness Department of the Business and Commercial Banking Division of Standard Bank of South Africa. As well as the coordination and provision of proactive support with regard to the agricultural sector and subsector economic insights.

- Rotating through different departments will allow you the opportunity to gain experience of different functions and rapidly learn the organization. These rotations are based on virtual and face to face and virtual work immersion, i.e. connect, learn and perform these tasks under the supervision of the Coaches.
- In support of the virtual / face to face work immersion, you are required to complete relevant training to support your development. Training will be available online, via virtual / face to face meetings and virtual / face to face classroom sessions.
- At the end of the rotations, you are required to achieve all milestones and goals.

Postgraduate qualification; Completed or completing in 2023
Relevant FAIS recognised qualification, FAIS Advisory business related Undergraduate/Postgraduate Qualification
