Mid Designer Mr Price
Purpose:
With attention to detail and in consultation with the respective Senior Designer create design directions and material which achieves brand & marketing objectives.
- Marketing Design:
- Making quick directional design mock-ups; translating the brief and strategic requirements into compelling creative solutions at mid-level.
- Working with the Copywriter in generating ideas; design for print, digital applications and other digital products at mid-level.
- Completing full campaigns in preparation for presentations at mid-level; getting involved in all levels of work from print to digital to television at mid-level.
- Liaising with the reproduction department on quality control.
- Maintaining high brand standards and creating original and fresh solutions to briefs.
- Creating design and layout using typography, colour, photography and illustrations; ensuring that correct print specifications and artwork are submitted to suppliers.
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
- Conceptualization/idea generation for new jobs with creative resolve.
- Creating motion graphics/ 3D designs.
- Education:
- Degree/Diploma: Design related.
- Experience:
- 3-4 Years’ experience in an agency or similar fast-paced environment.

Purpose:
Mr Price is looking for an experienced, energetic and talented Brand Head to join our marketing team. If you’re a strategic and innovative thinker with a passion for developing omni-channel marketing campaigns with great attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to juggle many balls at once, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop Seasonal Marketing strategies (across all channels) to ensure integrated marketing solutions are considered to reach annual and seasonal business objectives.
- Allocate and manage budget for each project/channel to ensure funds are invested wisely and according to plan.
- Manage multiple omni-channel campaigns and ensure timing and process is being adhered to.
- Brief and liaise with media agencies to finalize the media schedules and strategies and ensure critical analysis of media schedules against marketing objectives.
- Mentor, guide and work with Brand Project Managers/Coordinators so they are well equipped to assist on fulfilment and execution of the marketing plans alongside you in order to ensure a high performing team that achieves set marketing KPI’s.
- Develop strong relationships and work closely with all key stakeholders including creatives, shoot team, merchants, ecommerce, and visual merchandise team.
- Critically analyze creative work against your marketing briefs to ensure it delivers on the objectives of the campaign.
- Work with marketing effectiveness team to define objectives and measurables of each campaign to ensure marketing effectiveness reports give appropriate insights post campaign and assess what has been effective and what needs to be considered in the future seasonal Marketing plans.
Requirements:
- A relevant Marketing qualification
- Minimum of 6+ years in a Marketing position, preferably in a retail environment with 3+ years in a management role.
- Strong leadership and collaboration ability
- Experience in conceptual and operational elements required to drive successful campaigns.
- Advanced communication (written and verbal), strong numerical ability, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective presentation and listening skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast paced and highly pressurized environment.

Photographer
Purpose:
We are on the lookout for experienced photographers who are interested in joining the Mr Price Group in the future. Responsibilities:
- Shoot high quality images of our product with excellent detail and thereafter, upload and administration of images onto our in-house system
- Preparation of images through adobe software.
- Evaluation of, lighting, background, mood, dimensions and the set-up of sets
- Working closely with stylists and lead photographer to accomplish excellent and consistent photographic results
- Taking initiative within an energetic team environment
Requirements:
