Position: Security Coordinator: Server & Systems Support

Salary: R473 664 – R649 800 per annum (plus benefits)
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and implement information technology security requirements
- Input and advise on strategic capability and leadership to ensure that organisational demands are met in the short, medium and long term
- Implement security requirements to ensure that applications and data are secured against security threats
- Design and build detailed security solutions to ensure that the ICT applications are secured and data is protected against the latest security threats
- Perform security testing to ensure that security implementations are successful and to produce an audit trail of security activities
- Research and communicate on latest security trends to inform and ensure that the applications and data are protected optimally against threats
- Execute disaster recovery activities to ensure the least possible impact on business in care of a disaster
- Ensure governance and risk management to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability and to enable the achievement of subject matter standards regarding governance, risk and compliance
- Perform financial processes to ensure effective financial control and financial compliance
- Apply customer services orientation to meet customer expectations
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma in ICT or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
- ITIL Foundation V3 certificate
- 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience
- A valid driver’s license
