Senwes is looking for a self-motivated, energetic person between the age of 18 and 25 who wishes to pursue a career in the grain industry. Learners will be expected to accept employment on the basis of a 12-month fixed term contract.
What you’ll need:
– National Senior Certificate.
– Technical ability or aptitude will serve as a recommendation.
– Candidates must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
– No previous Learnership completed.
What you’ll be doing:
Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training at the silo, as well as additional training where required. Successful candidates will:
– Assist with grain handling by grading different commodities.
– Assist with the offloading, storage, receiving and dispatching of grain.
– Ensures that silo, store areas and general premises are clean through observations and inspections, and by adhering to instructions.
– Make sure that the control board is operated correctly and effectively.
– Assist with general office administration.
– Assist with Health & Safety compliance.
