What you’ll need:

Requirements:
– Relevant leadership development programme.
– All relevant gradings and fumigation certificates.
– At least 5 years experience in the grain industry with a focus on grain handling and storage.

What you’ll be doing:

Responsibilities:
* Assist with continuous research, developing and maintaining to improve Grain Quality Management practices and systems.
* Assist with the implementation of technology:
– Perform grain stock measurement and responsible to generate and interpret variance report.
– Advice and assist on a plan of action to address variances.
– Identify any possible risks, as well as solutions to manage the risks.
– Manage the implementation process to solve grain risks.
* Assist with the optimisation of grain stock management and quality monitoring:
– Interpret data variance reports to identify any possible risks or optimisations.
– Develop, implement and manage solutions to mitigate risks.
– Interpret effectiveness of analysis performed.
– Implement processes to optimize grain stock measurement.
– Manage and monitor the system optimisation processes.
– Investigate, provide and implement new technology.
– Responsible for the development and maintenance of the systems utilised.
– Provide assistance with developing and maintaining a control room management system to control and ensure technology optimisation.
– Develop and maintain a grain management register to manage silo stock transfers.
– Implement initiatives to conduct research and development.
* Assist with management reporting.
* Assist with maintenance of key client relations:
– Assist with customer services.
– Nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
– Provide assistance via corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance:
– Update and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality management systems, and other relevant certifications.
– Document and maintain records of grain handling, storage, and processing activities.
