Asset Controller Supervisor
Location: Gauteng, Kempton Park
Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for an Asset Controller Supervisor at our Head Office in Bonaero Park. The successful applicationwill report to the Senior Manager Aircraft Fleet Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Selection and contracting of aircraft and engines;
- Developing work scopes;
- Ensure correct costing and recoveries;
- Control and manage the changes and shop visits for engines, APU’s and landing gears;
- Monitoring of commercial aspects of leases;
- Induction and Redelivery planning;
- Shop visit commercial planning and oversight;
- Reserve allocations and exposures;
- Oversight of reporting’s;
- Fleet major module change planning;
- Ensure compliance to contractual obligations and airworthiness requirements;
- Collaborating with colleagues across Asset Management, Engineering, OEM, service providers and other support functions;
- Important to develop relationships with vendors;
- Assist in the Assessment of contractual agreements requirements and wording.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric and suitable diploma;
- 5 yrs. experience in engine management;
- At least 5 Years’ experience in relevant field;
- Technical background in CFM engines, understanding of ADs, SBs, LLP, BTB, FFP, procurement;
- Sound understanding of aviation business;
- Strong technical background in shop visit management;
- Technical background in CFM engines, understanding of ADs, SBs, LLP, BTB, FFP, procurement;
- Strong Planning ability;
- Ability to use and interpret contracts.
- Must have some exposure to management of small group of specialists;
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment, be deadline-driven and have the ability to both give and receive direction;
- Strong written and verbal skills;
