Job Description
One of the largest automotive component manufacturers is looking for a qualified, trade tested and experienced individual to join their team in the manufacturing plant.
Requirements:
- Trade Test – Fitter and Turner is required
- Valid Drivers Licence with own transport
- 5yrs working experience as a Fitter and Turner in manufacturing or engineering environment is essential
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SHIFTS
Responsibilities:
- Use and read all types of measuring equipment
- Understand the working princples of hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Attend to all machine breakdowns
- Interpret technical drawings
- Perform machine settings and changes when requested
- Identify quality issues and report
- Manufacturing of spare parts and changes to parts
- Updating and control of Engineering drawings
- Housekeeping in the maintenance areas

Strong mechanical knowledge or skills
