Job Description
Our client, a specialist in the sheet metal and fabrication industry is seeking to appoint a professional Sales Representative for their Johannesburg Office.
Requirements
- 3 Years Experience in an engineering environment.
- ERP System Knowledge.
- Experience doing estimating and pricing will be essential.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawing with mechanical design will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for reaching your agreed sales targets.
- Develop a sound strategy to grow our share of the defined market segments.
- Manage all related admin functions within the prescribed quality system to ensure maximum levels of efficiency and quality reach customers.
- Continuous customer interaction to build long term relationships, provide excellent service levels and ultimately grow our market share as well as to resolve customer complaints and address customer problems.
- Price and estimate drawings and sample parts.
- Setting and maintaining ad hoc pricing tactics in conjunction with the sales manager.
- Maintain and strengthen internal interactions with the various departments.
- Identify new customers that will utilize the services of a sheet metal fabricator. Manage existing customers and grow your client base. You will be required to liaise with the factory and manage your customers expectations on deliveries as well as deal with complaints and quality issues.
