Job Description
The Senior Administration Officer is responsible for the provision of administrative support services to facilitate seamless, efficient, and effective operations of the company. Is also responsible for the end-to-end Insurance of assets and management of company`s fleet by adhering to all legal requirements and relevant INFRATEL policies to facilitate mobility of staff, materials, and equipment. Coordinates and acts as liaison person between INFRATEL and motor vehicle suppliers, insurance providers, garages, RTSA and other relevant service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Office Accommodation
- Undertakes timely provision of office/workstations to members of staff in a bid to ensure that staff are well settled and are productive.
Health and Safety
- Ensures safe working environment to safeguard lives and property.
- Facilitates Health and safety activities in liaison with the Health and Safety committee.
Performance Management
- Undertakes timely development of performance targets for subordinates to facilitate effective performance evaluation.
Office Equipment & Furniture
- Facilitates timely procurement and maintenance of office equipment and furniture to avoid operational disruption.
- Office Superintendence
- Effectively supervises the maintenance of infrastructure and surroundings to create a safe and conducive work environment.
- Ensures timely preparation of payments for all utility related bills (including but not limited to electricity, phone, internet, and rentals to enhance smooth operations of the corporation
- Facilitates timely procurement and supply of office refreshments/supplies.
Insurance
- Ensures timely insurance cover of INFRATEL assets to alleviate risk of loss or damage to property.
- Facilitates for timely insurance claims of INFRATEL damaged or lost property as per SLA with the insurance company and in line with the INFRATEL claims procedure.
Inventory
- Undertakes accurate preparation and update of inventory register to ascertain and safeguard company assets and property.
Fleet Management
- Facilitates for a seamless fleet management process.
- Co-ordinates all transport requirements for users to facilitate smooth business operations.
Supervision
- Supervises subordinates by determining workload and delegating assignments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Facilitate training/awareness for all authorized motor vehicle users and monitor adherence levels.
Budget
- Facilitates Departmental Budget preparations and tracking.
- Coordinates preparation of weekly/monthly cashflows.
Reports
- Coordinates consolidation of weekly, monthly, and Quarterly reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Full Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in managementstudies, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or its equivalent
- Member of ZIHRM

Years of Experience Required
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in administration.
