PURPOSE
To ensure that all planned operational targets for deposition of tailings are met as per contractual obligation in time and good quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with team leader / supervisor to achieve planned operational targets.
Perform inspections on designated area of responsibility every day.
Planning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing areas.
Assist with the problems solving on operational challenges and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor.
Adhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedures.
Extension and connecting of pipelines .
Opening and closing of valves in line with operational lines
Requirements
QUALIFICATION
Grade 12 Certificate / or equivalent
REQUIREMENTS
Tailings Dam Operation background / experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous

PURPOSE

RESPONSIBILITIES

Check sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications

Bathrooms
- Ensure that bathrooms/ablutions are well cleaned (i.e. toilet stools, polish mirrors, clean sinks, taps, empty waste basket, replace liner, spot clean doors and clean the floors, etc.) as per the work schedule provided by the reporting manager.
Offices, Meeting rooms and office functions
- Dust, sweep, de-cobweb, damp wipe, polish furniture, windowsills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves, and decorations as per schedule.
Health and Safety
- Follow written/verbal safe work procedures when executing specific tasks in emergencies as per training.
- Wear correct personal protective equipment for each specific task.
General
- Responsible for keeping adequate stocks of crockery, kitchen groceries, and cleaning materials.
- Ensure that cleaning material stock is stored safely apart from food and drinks.

- Receive goods or services and forward all duly approved (i.e. Contracts Manager) signed delivery notes and/or invoices to the relevant stakeholders.

- Preventing loss/damage of property in the office.

- Compile monthly reports in conjunction with the line manager.
Personnel Administration
