DESIGNATION: Executive Secretary: Finance
REMUNERATION: R25 422,17 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4);
- Diploma in Executive Secretarial/Secretarial Management/Office Management/Office
Administration/Personal Assistant at (NQF level 6); - Computer Literacy: MS Office Package;
- 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience
Primary Function:
To provide an effective and comprehensive executive secretarial service to the Director
and Deputy Director within Public Safety Finance. To provide professional and efficient
office management assistance to the Office of the Director.
Key Performance Areas:
- Execute specific instructions and applies laid-down procedures with respect to
coordinating and maintaining daily schedules, meetings, appointments, travel
arrangements and events. - Scheduling and planning the diary and events for the Director and DD’s in order to ensure
the critical appointments, events and functions are efficiently planned, prioritized and
coordinated. - Maintains the executive correspondence/information and recordkeeping system and
access records of discussions, instructions and correspondence. - Perform tasks associated with the provision of Receptionist/Telephonic services and
procurement processes. - Prepare memorandums as well as correspondence on matters referred to the Executive
Secretary by the Director. Attend to administrative tasks delegated by the Deputy Director. - Coordinating of procurement process.
